Hey there — I’m Katie! A lifelong history nerd, WW2 re-enactor, and proud collector of all things militaria.
War Footprints is my way of keeping the past alive — not just in museums or textbooks, but through travel, storytelling, video, and hands-on reenactment. From the muddy trenches of the Somme to the beaches of Normandy, I follow the paths of those who came before us, sharing their stories as I go.
History is fading in the noise of today’s world. I believe we must travel, learn, and remember — so the sacrifices of those who served are never forgotten.
